Synopsis
Tropical Storm Hanna will continue to move northward away from the northern Bahamas today. Rough Atlantic waters will gradually decrease today as Hanna pulls away. High pressure will build across the area this weekend. All mariners should closely follow the forecast track of Hurricane Ike, which may approach the area early next week.

The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a * special marine warning for... waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL from 20 to 60 nm excluding the territorial waters of Bahamas waters from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach FL from 20 to 60 nm coastal waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL out 20 nm coastal waters from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach FL out 20 nm * until 830 am EDT * at 622 am EDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated an outer rainband from Tropical Storm Hanna... capable of producing strong winds of around 35 knots or greater... over the coastal waters of Palm Beach, Broward and northern Miami Dade counties... moving south southwest at near 20 knots. Boaters can expect strong gusty winds... high waves... and heavy rain. Move to safe Harbor or stay close to shore.
