My first weather blog entry and it is a rainy day here in Woodland, California. We had a somewhat tropical rain come in last night. This morning the rain has decreased but the wind has increased. There is still more rain to come and the satellite indicates another storm for tonight. I continue to wonder if theses warmer winter storms are warnings of impending "Banana Express" spring rains which may bring heavy flooding.

Hi ullrey,

Sounds like you have had a wet weekend. When you typed "banana express", did you mean "pineapple express"?
Or does "banana express" mean something in particular?
